Team Riders Podium Spots in 09 INT Regionals

The Final competition for the INT League was held October 2nd-4th at Villa Lagos in Gerber, Ca. Invitations were issued to riders who competed in 50% of the INT events this past season from 5 states including Nor Cal, So Cal, Washington, Oregon, Nevada and Utah. Norcal Hyperlite riders that participated were, Hayden Wirth, Tyler Higham, Steven Hallsworth, Nataly Conner, Colin Wirth & Trevor Maur. It was great to see everyone out there, including our very own HO Joe & Jon Haddox who came out to support their team riders. Jon was awesome on the microphone all weekend - he could take that show on the road!!!

The weekend was a bit windy and cold, but our team went out and represented extremely well. Qualification for the finals on Sunday was based upon the top three riders scores in each division based upon 2 rounds of competition on Friday & Saturday. At the end of the weekend, the Western Regional awards for the top three finalists were announced and Norcal Hyperlite represented well!!!

Jr Entro Division: 1st Place - Tyler Higham

2nd Place - Hayden Wirth

Junior Novice: 1st Place - Steven Hallsworth

Women's Intermediate: 1st Place - Nataly Conner

Men's Pro - 2nd Place - Trevor Maur

In addition to the wake competition, there was a "Rail Jam" on Saturday night. The 12 riders invited to participate very nearly froze to death as a storm was brewing and it was "COLD". At the end of the evening, the 1st place award went to our very own "Colin Wirth" who was the youngest one in the competition. Second place went to our Legion Rider, Trevor Maur, and third place went to Raquel Hoffman. As you can see, Colin and some tough competition, but as always, he killed it on the rails!!!s
